Villa v City post match thread.

Everyone handled that well. Kelechi originally went over to take it, Sterling said he wanted to as he won the penalty, and Kelechi stepped aside without any real argument. Then Zab stepped in, with the wait of experience and captain's authority and seemed to say to Sterling that Kelechi needed it more (and was likely the designated penalty taker). Sterling stepped away as commanded and when Kelechi put it away he ran over to congratulate him. Then, later, Kelechi spent several chances trying to get Sterling a goal.

That is how it is done.
Absolutely

That reply saying about only 23K fans there today so fan ownership wouldn't be a great idea is brilliant haha

Very happy with the result. Nacho has the potential to be fantastic for us.

Just read the unofficial match thread, what was all the criticism of Otamendi about?

8 goals and 4 assists in 613 minutes of game time. Not to mention 1 perfectly good goal scratched off...

Thats a goal every 76 minutes and a goal or assist every 51 minutes.

Kelechi Iheanacho is progressing really nicely... We'll have to wait and see whether the sky is the limit, but Messi or CR7 would shy away from such stats at his age.

Well that was a wonderful game, shit ref (and Stan "Cry some more") couldn't even ruin it.
Opposition was very bad but our team had pace, poise and industry all over the place.
Zaba, Fernandinho, Navas on fire; Sterling with a much deserved goal. Everyone else really good.
Ofcourse motm has to be Kelechi. Brilliant performance, hat trick hero. I set the bar not too high 'cause he's young but he's smashed it so far.
Great to see Humphreys and Celina, congrats Angelino first appearance. Only thing missing was a Delph goal and snake celebration with Raheem!

*Didn't know Collymore has depression, apologies if anyone offended, I just thought he was venting his anger at us.
