If we are talking about banning fans for their behaviour at previous games I am pretty sure Maccabi wouldn't make the top 50 of teams. They have been banned for one reason only and that is because the locals can't behave.

According to their wikipedia page, they are apparently the 2nd most racist team from Israel. A quick search on the internet will back this up with many incidents.

I’ve not seen that so can’t comment about the Villa fan on here. There was a poster on here who said he’d been on a Villa forum and most of them were happy with the decision.

I asked the Villa fan I woke up with this morning, she thinks it's a sensible decision from a public order perspective.
