A small group of very young Blues have been wandering around away grounds and European squares singing that Joe Hart song repeatedly for over a year now. Fair play for their persistance.

All they needed to do was start a thread on Bluemoon, of course ;-)

They must have heard our lot singing it at Southampton away! ;)

I know its a football match and profanity always prevails but cant help feel sorry for those parents of young fans having to listen to the swearing. I'm sure they'd love to join in with the songs especially the Zabba one. I guess society has finally lowered itself and accepted the F and C word is the new "bloody".
My Dad always swore at the footy in front of me and he even let me swear, even as a young lad, and join in with all the songs and call the ref a wanker and all that.

But he told me I was never to swear outside of the footy and even now in my 30s I still don't swear in front of my Mam.

Kids know. Kids know from a young age what's appropriate and what's not. Swearing and the football have always gone hand-in-hand.

You just have to doctor the songs with something that sound s ok eg instead of "fucking man" in the zabba he's a city man, or with the gerrard song instead of fucking grass try flipping grass - I do it for loads when my sons with me and it lets him sing the songs without me having to explain to the missus where he picked up some new colourful language - they will hear the swearing regardless not really a problem unless they start using it or ask the wife what it means - yes he has asked the wife what is a C**T !
Pablo Zabaletta, he is proper Manc, he is an Argentinian, who's harder than a tank. Better than the original and no swearing.
