It looked as though Villa were going to do it, up until Bradford scored.

After the equaliser, the Bantams came more into the game and I was convinced that there was no way they were going to miss out on Wembley.

I'm pleased for Bradford, as they have had a S**t time of it for about ten years.

I'm also delighted for one of my best mates at work, who is a dyed-in-the-wool Bradford supporter.

Per twitter: Bradford city squad compiled at spend of £15k. Average wage of £750-a-week. League Cup Finalists. Heroes.

Is it possible that they are on 750 per week only? Looks nothing even for League 2.

That's a decent average wage these days in league 2. There are some players on 15-18k per year. The economics of lower league football just don't stack up these days.
