Pep and the club hierarchy will be pushing for a top 8 finish.
We may not be enamoured with it but the CWC is high on the clubs priorities and we are currently way behind arsenal and liverpool in the qualification table.

I wouldn't worry about that too much, they've already talked about expanding it to more teams and even making it every couple of years instead.

Winning the competition would help, so we should just go and do that this season to make sure we're in it.

Yeah, the XG feels odd to me. These highlights paint a very different picture. I'd love to see the open play XG.
