Vincent Kompany - Belgium, Brilliant Banner

Dnt think the over 12's or blue alliance bit really goes with the flag but it's there flag they put what they want on it
 
Can't believe kompany isn't recognised outside city fans as along with vidic the best centre half in the league and I actually think he's better on the ball than vidic. He deserves the captaincy for me and player of the year let alone a banner

Agree that Vince needs a banner but that last line ruins it completely. The "over 12's" will get the recognition from the people that know them as that just by seeing the banner without the need to add their nickname to it. Strange decision to ruin it, but it's their money i suppose. Fair play for the effort.
 
Blue Alliance aims are quoted on Facebook as

"the over 12's" has hooligan connotations whether you like it or not ( as I said before Stoke's "under fives") ...... so "over 12's" is an association with violence whether its true or not.
 
I don't get why they have made an in-joke between a few lads public to tens of thousands of people, and the great man himself. What's the purpose of it being an in-joke then? Surely they should keep it personal?

Its a top idea, about time he got recognition. But I agree with the rest of the thread, the Over 12s bit ruins it.

Great idea, great banner but why put somthing on that no fucker
has a clue about.
Might as well have put Roy Cropper on it.
