Obviously he’s adored by us but he’s well respected throughout the game.

Its gonna be packed to the rafters , gone were the days when 15,000 turned up at Maine Rd for a testimonial game , he's possibly our best player for 50 years , (which will always be open to debate) but his longevity in a blue shirt will probably never be repeated such is the modern game of contracts and leech like agents.

Quite pleased this is a midweek actually. The international breaks are about the only weekends I see the wife and kids during the season so she'd have been really pissed off if it'd been a Saturday!
