He's a very smart man, is our Vinny.
I think Khaldoon will trust him one day to sit on the board.
Has his fingers in so many pies, and showed his nous the other day in the press conference in Abu Dhabi.
Not only did he mention Abu Dhabi, but in the same answer, the 'wider U.A.E'.
If I'm Khaldoon and Sheikh Mansoor, that's music to my ears.
Their skipper is 'on message' even when it comes by way of natural conversation.
He's the perfect role model for my little boy when it comes to all the other great players and fancier names we have.
Strong, intelligent, a leader, articulate, understands what City has always been about as a football club.
A true club legend.

Although my daughters are not huge football fans, they are into other sports. I sat them down to watch this this morning with a short lecture on teamwork and leadership. What a fantastic example to not only our kids but other players too. Thanks for posting this.

I thought you were gonna mention Vinnie rescuing the room from cont'd awkwardness during the training session press conference. Pellegrini was asked about Omar Abdulrahman and he blanked the question - "I wasn't here." Vinnie spoke up next chance he got with the mic to give Omar props to the palpable relief of the gathered.
