You could argue idiotic threads like this ruin the site, but they give us a good laugh.

Kompany has never played right back and never will because he isnt a right back.

We have Zab and Richards who play there. Nedum can play there as an emergency or we could bring Vidal in who is looking very good

People need to accept fan favourites wont play every game, you cant get them into the team by playing them out of position.

Tevez is a good player but I do love SWP!


As you were saying its great we have such a fantastic squad. We just lack cover for Ireland and Barry

How is Kompany's injury these days? When is he expected to be playing again?
I heard that he was recovering very good, but does it mean he is almost match fit, or just that he is ahead on schedule?

I was brought up on football where the best eleven started. Now we have all sorts of teeming and ladling.

There is the added issue of, not just Hughes, but most managers with good squads, not being totally convinced who the best starting eleven actually is!

Also, I think with the squad we have now the notion of playing somebody (Vincent at RB) out of their recognised position would be anathema to Hughes.
