Sterling's a good comparison actually, at least in terms of output and position (at times).Thats fair enough, but folk not wanting him because they think hes crap is ludicrous. Sounds like opposition fans who thought Sterling was crap when he clearly wasnt, he scored 120 goals for us.
He was excellent for us, but did any of us ever suggest he should be winning the Balon Dor? We'd have been laughed out of town.
Vinicius is a good player don't get me wrong, but I'm not convinced he'd be as good for us, or get as many goals as he has in Spain. I'd rather stick with what we've got (or take someone from PSG).
(And this is before we get onto his personality)

Don’t care if had scored 300 goals his character his personality on the pitch is rancid and this entitled persona he has is why Man City wouldn’t touch him with a ten foot barge pole!
I feel like I’m the only City fan who disagrees with this.
I genuinely don’t care about player’s personalities as long as they consistently produce for us. In fact, characters are great, gets us in the news instead of constant shit about rags/dippers/bellingham.
As the dominant team in this country I’d like to see more players who act like it on and off the pitch.
I’d rather have an absolute prick who scored/created hatfuls of goals than a nice lad with the productivity of Savinho.
My opinion, no-one will change it as I’m an arrogant prick myself so of course I like those players. I do think sometimes we lack self belief for such a great team though.
