I feel like we should have seen this coming from the start of the season with the testimonial announced ages ago, but for whatever reason I just never thought the rumours were true, even when he was so emotional after Leicester etc.

Hes gonna leave such a void on the pitch and off it.

He's been here from the start of this new era and produced so many big moments. It's going to leave a big hole not only in the dressing room but at the club. I couldn't have asked for a more eloquent, humble or intelligent leader to represent our club for the last decade. If anyone deserves a statue outside the Etihad, it's Vincent Kompany.
