Anywhere in the town centre sell them? And if you have one would you recommend it?

Currently have 130gb in music...er purchased errr...online but would like to buy one to play those odd albums without a bad track on them...and find CD's a bit shit for what you pay.

Do they plug into most speaker types...do I need to buy a seperate amp. Really have no idea.

As with everything it depends on how much you want to spend.

Richer Sounds on Deansgate is the best place to buy imo. You'll need a turntable, a suitable amplifier (perhaps a pre amp depending on your amplifier) and a decent set of speakers. Oh and some records!

Re: Vinyl Players/ Vinyl

Cheers will tru & check that out tomorrow. No I already have a few I've taken from other people but might try and get a couple more. I was just interested if people genuinely find the sound difference is worth it (on decent speakers obviously).

Try Ebay

Or check out Ion and their USB record players. Put record on turntable, plug into computer/ dock station etc etc and let rip...
unless you have some good old vinyl, surely if you put it through a pc it will be digitalised, and will sound shyte as the pc will only pick up a % of the recording . get a proper old 70`s stereo for a far better sound.
