Anyone thinks Liverpool will be a challenger next season? With Van Dijk and Kieta in, and say they add Lemar in place of Coutinho, I think that's a very strong team capable of a title challenge.
Not with Mingolet

If and it is an if, you are competing in the CL then you need a squad, as opposed to a team. You can see now how Pep is trying to accommodate every player. You have to rotate to rest certain players for certain games, while retaining momentum. The bars been raised, instead of throwing cash at the team, each player as to be cherry picked, coached and moulded to the squad.

So you're saying it's their year next year?

No. Especially if they sign Lemar to replace Coutinho.

Haha. Don't know yet. But, they have splashed some cash on their weak areas. I remember Klopp saying when he was appointed that he would win a Title in 4 years, and next year is the 4th year for him.

Looks that way - Dippers getting all giddy but if you had to chose between Courtinho and VVD in your team - I know which one I’d go for.

Agreed mate! Really wanted VVD for us but £75m is a joke and the saints are probably laughing their cocks off as we speak!

Not at that price they won't.

The money being spent is ridiculous. But, that's the over inflated market that has been created.

I still think he could have teamed up with Stones and made you better defensively.

That's gone now so no point discussing the ifs and buts. Let's see if he improves Liverpool to make them serious challengers.

That depends on them keeping what they have and I can't see that.

Didn't Phil Thompson and Mickey Quinn call raheem for jumping ship and trying to better himself? And now both are shouting from the rooftops about this deal and what a great move for the lad it is? One thing that grates on me is hypocrites and people being fickle and these two haven't thought before they have opened their giddy mouths.
Pathetic that they've been allowed to air their two faced opinions in the mainstream.

They are deluded enough to think that moving from Liverpool to City is a downward move (or at best a sideward move). Any player moving from Southampton to Liverpool is making their dream move to the club they supported as a boy. These players get to play in Europe but what have any of these Southampton players actually won?

The Saints will be hoping Forster makes the World Cup team so they can sell him to the Dippers for £30m plus! I don’t know why Liverpool didn’t buy Soton. Few years back - it would have been cheaper. VVD £75m, Mane £34m, Clyde £12.5, Lovren £20m, Lalana £25, Lambert £4m !

Nah, they're not that optimistic, that fucker looked like he'd taken a bung off spurs on Tuesday.

Great signing for them, way over priced in my opinion but it could like us signing walker, alot believed he was way over priced but alot of city fans knew he was exactly what we needed and worth whatever we had to pay. Personally I think they would have been better getting a decent keeper, a great keeper can cover over alot of cracks, where would the rags be without degea!

How much have you lot made on this deal?
