Virgin Trains to Wembley...no booze

I think it'll be strictly enforced, and any cans from the offy etc will be confiscated.
No problems last year, just took them on train in carrier, just weren't serving booze on the train.

Don't panic !

Nice thermos flask full of your favourite spirit and mixer works well.Seriously it is a joke football fans are still being treated like some form of prisoners in transit or something, rather than people trying to have a good day out.

I feel sorry for the Wigan fans as unless they stay overnight they won't make the last Manchester train from Euston, which for some reason known only to Virgin leaves at NINE pm!!

I had this problem last season before the QPR game.I was allowed time off from work in Kent and i missed it by 5 minutes.I had to go to Kings Cross and get a train to Leeds got me there at 12:15am then a TWO hour wait for a coach to Manchester.I got home eventually at 5am.It was worth it in the end though!

It's a fucking nightmare,in hindsight i would have been better off getting a hotel and getting the first train in the morning but i thought i would make it and i was a bit worried about getting delayed on the day.

Eh?! Even both wembley games vs the scum I was drinking on the train down.
Suppose those Londoners are pwoppa nawwty geezers though

On the train now, drinking cans we brought with us and the bar is open.

COME ON CITY!

They've been dry on trips I've been on and alcohol is confiscated. Their rules include taking unopened cans or bottles off you. There may or may not be Police on the train to supervise - so sneak them on at your risk. On a trip to West Brom a few seasons back, they took a box of 18 lagers off a group of Lads and threw them in a huge bin.
