First-of-its-kind virtual reality experience launched at the Etihad Stadium
Manchester City has become the first club in the Premier League to introduce a futuristic virtual reality experience as part of its award-winning stadium tour.
Someone needs to create the environment that everyone else will enjoy. In theory. I think it will happen. If it's a virtual experience, why do I need to go to the ground to do it?
Can I leave before it finishes, as I want to beat the virtual traffic
AI can create the environment surely? ;)Someone needs to create the environment that everyone else will enjoy. In theory. I think it will happen.

City have been talking about this for a long time have they not? It's 100% guaranteed to happen at some point. If any club are forward thinking enough to do it first, then we're right at the front of the queue. You could have millions of people around the world watching a match in real time. Priced correctly I'd certainly consider it.
It is what it is, I'm not celebrating it but it is about being one step ahead of everyone else. United was miles ahead of everyone off the pitch and then took their foot off the gas. Look at them now,The more time that passes the more detached the club becomes from the fans! If any other club did this we would all be taking the piss, I would anyway.
Although if it contains subliminal messages about the outcome of the #115 I could be persuaded to change my mind.
Wouldn't worry too much about the objectors, they'll all be dead in a few years. This is so obviously the way football is headed, I can't believe some people are critical of the club for getting ahead of the game. The potential is endless for anyone with a hint of imagination or vision.
That's just ostrich thinking I'm afraid, the world moves on either with or without you.The more time that passes the more detached the club becomes from the fans! If any other club did this we would all be taking the piss, I would anyway.

I guess it's the same discussion that was had when they first started televising football. And whilst it's led to major impact on match-going fans, there's not one of us that hasn;t benefitted significantly in being able to watch our team on our tellyboxes. It is what it is, I'm not celebrating it but it is about being one step ahead of everyone else.
