Visiting Manchester

to be honest I'd fuck the trip off, go to the giants causeway, better than anything over here.

Always rains on me at the Giants Causeway so no different to Manchester then!

Do you like science and industry, if so, yes, it's worth a visit, if not, no it isn't. There's also the Imperial War Museum North, the National Football Museum and the People's History Museum.

Go for a ride on our internationally renowned tram system. It rarely goes much faster than walking pace so you won't miss any of the sights.

The main Manchester Museum is a great visit ...... recently refurbished, and worth a tip to. (It's next to the Uni..... any bus going up Oxford Rd will drop right outside it)

Just back from a meeting in Bolton and was fortunate enough to pass under Eccles' very own feat of engineering beauty - the glass bridge.

I recommend a visit that could inspire your nipper to a future to eclipse Isambard Kingdom Brunel...

Thanks guy's & gal's will try the Imperial War Museum as well then!

Museum of Science and Industry is a fantastic place to visit and the Air and Space museum is just across the road.
You could have a pint in the "World famous Embassey club" and a black pudding on the "World famous Bury market"

Although they're only world famous in Manchester and Bury.

Depends no what your tastes are, but I'd suggest combining one of the museums with some nosh in the City Centre. May even get a Saturday lunchtime special offer if you catch it in time.

Tri Thai in China Town is nice (try a bubble tea for something different), or you could pop into the Marble Brewery place on Thomas Street and get yourself an authentic Manc pint, and a mega sized scotch egg each for you and the lad (at £2.50 an absolute steal). There are a couple of buffet style places too with an all you can eat thing going on.

AMC Cinema in town is pretty decent and usually quiet and the National Footy Musuem at the URBIS is supposed to be good, not been myself though.

The City Tour has changed quite a bit over the last few years apparently. Went on it last 3 years ago myself, no idea how much it has changed now though.
