40M and he is not joining direct ? We have a injury crisis. Even if he doesn’t play much at least he can get acclimated to living in England already so he can start for next season.

Just play him at the position he has always played at. If the club wants a DM which we desperately need JUST buy a DM. There are some good players out there. This versatility stuff is going to be our downfall. Why not buy a CB to play RW soon too?

I agree with you, but trying to understand why Pep is willing to buy 2 CBs this January !

Suspect this news is just to motivate the other team on Khusanov. We always seem to get a 2nd link when the price keeps going on on our primary target

So with limited money (PSR) it makes even less sense while were desperate in 5 other positions to spend big ish money on someone that isnt even coming right away. Im fully aware CB needs work but it should be well down the list of current priorities.

We cant afford forward thinking right now. We’re way past forward thinking!! We need people who can help this minute!! We cocked up big time the last few years, if this is the strategy I’m flummoxed with our thinking at this stage!!
