Pussey has been on the field and looked woeful sadly on every occasion. With all the constant injuries we get at CB it's exciting we are linked with 2 young CBs, but even if we get them both in does anybody seriously think PEP will play them ? PEP doesn't trust kids Pusey can't get on the field even with or current issues PEP would rather put walker or even gundog in ,4-0 up against WMU and still no oReilly,Pusey mcatee only come on at 80 minutes as long as there's a hole in my backside KIDS won't play.Just imagine if citys academy had that kid yamal from barca do you think he would be a superstar if at city?probably wouldn't even of played a game.
Does anyone on here know anything about him? I certainly never heard of him beforeHow . You literally know nothing about this guy.
HarshPussey has been on the field and looked woeful sadly on every occasion.
Not true.Pussey has been on the field and looked woeful sadly on every occasion.
I'd suggest that was more to do with how those around him like Akanje played rather than Pussey himself. He was hung out to dry say at Sporting i think it was and if we threw any young CB into that situation they'd struggle.Pussey has been on the field and looked woeful sadly on every occasion.
With a fully fit squad & Rodri as a 6, we'd still be a force to be reckoned with imo, BUT there's no stopping the hands of ole Father Time. As our players age, injuries are easier to come by & harder to heal quickly from, & because of Pep's preference for a smaller squad, the perfect storm has ravaged us.Complacency and far too loyal.
Loyalty is a great trait but it can also come back to haunt you as we have seen this season.
Elite clubs/winning clubs keep winning by been ruthless and make tough and seemingly callous decisions on players/coaches.
Players come and go, some leave as legends but most go and are soon forgotten, that's the nature of sport. Sadly now we have far too many of our fan base that seem to support players more than the club, I find that strange.
I don’t agree. I think he’s looked pretty good considering it’s his first time starting games. The expectation levels for youngsters are ridiculousPussey has been on the field and looked woeful sadly on every occasion.
Put it this way . If either of these lads put in performances like JSP they will be wrote off as some of our worst ever signings.I don’t agree. I think he’s looked pretty good considering it’s his first time starting games. The expectation levels for youngsters are ridiculous
Think he's been consistent all season....Dire ;)He was diabolical against Brentford.
Even if stones leaves we would still have Ake, Dias, Gvardiol & Akanji. I think those 2 will take the place of Aké and Akanji over time. And then there is still JSP. If everything goes well City won’t need to buy new CB in the next years. Hell we might even get an actual RB/LB.I’m not keen on buying young CBs. Think CB is the one role where experience and age are major attributes. You are stronger and wiser in your mid to late 20s.
Simpson-Pusey just got bullied but Gyokeres in the CL as he’s not a man yet. You have to be physically strong and that’s why I would personally have gone tried and tested over potential.
Well the intention is that we can get Dias back fit. Keep Akanji and Ake fit and this lad can build up his time in the team.I’m not keen on buying young CBs. Think CB is the one role where experience and age are major attributes. You are stronger and wiser in your mid to late 20s.

You've done it now, that's the number that will get quoted when we buy him....Positive signs for this deal.
The negotiation between Palmeiras and Manchester City could reach up to 45 million euros (R$ 283 million). The clubs are discussing the moment of the athlete's arrival in England... -

I agree with all you have said apart from loyalty. Could it not be argued that loyalty played a huge part in our treble and 4 in a row success? I would take that loyalty now if it meant we continue to win and have a bad season every 4/5 years.Complacency and far too loyal.
