Former Manchester City midfielder Vladimir Weiss is set for a move to Inter Milan at the end of the season, according to reports in Italy.

The Slovakian playmaker was considered one of the most promising talents in English football but failed to make the breakthrough at City and was loaned out to Bolton, Rangers and Espanyol.

And after four years at the club he left for Pescara last summer - and the 23-year-old has impressed in Serie A, leading to admiring glances from other big clubs.

But Inter appear to have stolen a march on their rivals, according to Gazzetta dello Sport, and are confident they can sign Weiss in the summer.

I reckon we could use him right about now

I knew we'd regret selling him, it was ridiculous to sell him.
We should have played him instead of buying that Sinclair shit.

it's not about the personnel we have it's about playing to their strengths and we didn't play to Weiss's strengths... as we Don't other players such as Dzeko (who relies on pacey wingers)

How is it ridiculous to sell someone who was never going to play and probably asked Mancini too leave.

Anyway will be surprised if he goes to inter he was supposed to be going to AC not long ago which started a huge debate as well.

Sinclair is not shit and being on the bench certainly does not make him shit.

Bob, for reasons that I am sure you and I can imagine, won't play him.
It's either two-fingers to Marwood for buying him instead of his own targets in the summer, or his formations/tactics don't require wingers (which to me will be Bob's downfall).
Give the lad a run of games, either as starting or a lengthy period off the bench and I am positive he will produce. Stick him out on the touchline when we break/counter-attack and we will stretch teams and score/create many more.

Here's a comparison; we paid £8m for Sinclair, they paid £16m for Valencia. Does that make him twice as good?

Out of contract in the summer so given the way these Italian clubs are with finances, none of them were going to pay a fee when they'd get him for free in the summer.

Everyone in Italy loves Weiss. Over in Venice in a few weeks and was told Chievo play Pescara when I'm there, yeah, fucking away they are.

Valencia is twice as good as Sinclair if not almost 3 times as good.
Sinclair has been given multiple chances and hasn't put in a good performance yet.
He even missed a penalty in a reserves game.
He shoul go out on loan next season IMO.

No shit I'm 15 it's in my username.
I'm not trying to hide my age.
Maybe calling him shit was a bit harsh, but he's not at the level to play for the Premier League champions.

Have said it before: it's impossible that he could have contributed less than Scott Sinclair who cost us £6.4million rising to £8million. Vlad said recently he found it hard to leave City but Mancini completely ignored him so had no choice. He probably would have stayed if we offered him a new 3-year contract. More money down the drain... people might argue "Sinclair is better" but even if he is it means fook all considering how little he plays. Plus Weiss would have counted as club trained in the Champions League squad.

reword that sentence. i don't understand what message you're trying to get across

If its true he wanted to stay but Mancini didn't think so then we have to back the man who saw him in trai king and pre season more than anyone.

In hindsight we should have kept him now considering we bought Sinclair in the end but had we got RvP or Hazard etc he wouldn't have played at all so you can understand why Mancini sold him.

We're going off topic here but multiple chances?!? Seriously???
Ten minutes at the end of a game does not constitute a fair chance.
Sinclair has never played a full game or even given a decent run in the team so how can you judge him?
Last year at Swansea he was their standout performer and was as good if not better than Valencia.
Sinclair is being used as a pawn in Bob's games against Marwood and I firmly believe that he could be a huge asset to the team if he was given the chance.

They were probably just laughing at you in general tbh, and rightly so.
