VLC/Acestream

I've noticed that the bit rate is alot higher on Acestream and have installed VLC to watch 'aways' on.

However, having tried it out in VLC test mode the picture quality is fine but if I try and pick up a stream I get sound and a white screen.

I've tried to read/understand the stuff on Wiziwig but that's just confused me more & have deleted and re-installed VLC with no changes to my problems.

Any thoughts or should I just go back to Sopcast/Flash?
