Buzzer, of course we had no contrails as there were no bloody aircraft flying.

This is why sometimes people get wound up with what you say. Contrails are completely normal & are easily proved by basic science to be what they really are yet you still insist they are something else :-S

So the main difference according to that video is that contrails disappear quickly whilst chemtrails don't :-S

You are aware are you not that a contrail is basically a cloud? So you're saying that clouds disappear quickly. Hmmm, I have to say that in my experience they tend to hang around for quite a while.

Chemtrails if the above is true, can therefore manipulate weather conditions? It would be good to get Gelsons take on this as then we would have two plane heads(no offence with the term btw) on the go, and i know this won't suprise you, but i smell a rat.

Contrails don't disappear quickly though mate, that's the point. All they are is clouds, albeit artificial ones.

As for the video it's definitely a UFO as I can't identify it. I would suggest though that there is a perfectly logical & scientific explanation to it rather than an extra0terrestrial one ;-)

OK... 2 things.

Chem-trails disappeared because there were no aircraft. Great wasn't it! Look up Global Dimming... I'll post a link if I find a good one... The same happened during the flight ban after 9/11. The temperature went up because there were a lot less clouds which are basically seeded by the aircraft vortices which at high altitude create condensation, because of the pressure of the wings etc hitting the thin air at high speeds. They reckon that the aircraft trails are causing more clouds which blocks photons hitting the earth, hence they actually are keeping the worst effects of global warming, well, dimmed...

But it's only a theory, but backed up by experiment and observation during 9/11. I'm sure more data will have been collected during the latest flight ban so we'll see if the same happened again..



As for the footage. My main problem is that it's been filmed off a PC screen so reflections etc can cause effects like that. Where's the original footage?

p.s. I have also created a trail of chemicals on a few occasions by dumping fuel to reduce weight for landing.

Booo, surely we should be past dumping fuel in this day and age GD? i mean it should be pretty easy to judge how much fuel you will need for a journey? give and take a couple of barrels incase of emergency. And what do we make of the UFO link?

My point is mate, is that sometimes there is loads of chem/con trail activity, sometimes theres none, when you wake up first thing in a morning, look in the sky on a bright day and if there is trail activity then give it a couple of hours and it will become overcast, if there is no trail activity it will remain nice 'n' bright. Also, howcome that sometimes there is activity and sometimes not, and i'm not talking about a week gap, it maybe a 2 week gap, so your not telling me that there has been no flights over a 2 week period to a certain destination over a certain place?

all i meant was since the ban was lifted i've not seen rain!
not had one overcast day in newcastle and today is not different

i'd have thought the obvious theory here would have been EU ground airoplanes and increase other forms of transport in order to meet CO2 emissions targets (as mentioned on here last week)!

not that this would make much global difference with the volcano and all!!
