best striker this year, would really begrudge it Torres or Robinho to be honest, either wins it for me, anelka, although good, hasnt really been great or special this year at all, just good .... sooo vote away :-)

Hasn't Torres been a bit shit this season? Well compared to last?

Truthfully Anelka wins it for me. Top goalscorer simple as.

i cant think of a striker, this year that has been as good as him, yes away from home, he has been pretty useless .... but he has done enough in my books to win it, compare him to the other strikers on the list ! he has done much better than them this year, Torres has been injured A LOT this season, and Anelka has never been brilliant this year ..... in my mind it is a one horse race, as he has set up 5, scored 14 in his 1st season, when literally every team he has played against has set out to stop him playing ..... and the wonder he has brought with him on the field of play is unbelievable .... Portsmouth and Bolton games anybody?

should win IMO, but probably won;t due to the whole of the footballing world not wanting us to succeed ! with all the bad press he has got this year for VERY minimalistic reasons, he has done great ! but i cant see any other set of fans voting for him apart from our own 0_o

and doesnt reading their para on Robbi make you love the song "we've got robinho" again? and dream of that transfer deadline day? :-D

As much as I love Robinho I can't honestly say he's been the best premier league striker from any team this season, Anelka and Torres both had better seasons.

Sorry, had to vote Anelka on this one. He has found the club he will finish his career at now and seems to be playing with a real smile on his face (for a change!)

I wish him real success. He is a quality, quality striker who under the right management is exceptionally clinical and an asset to any team.

anelkas not been special enough (good goals but hes a boring player and doesn't contribute much else in games). Torres good but a bit injury prone so for me Robinho should be there with anelka

Lol, I bloody love this forum.

Robinho got my vote. Purely because I'm a City fan and for THAT goal against Arsenal. Anelka has had a cracking season though. He should realistically win because of the Golden Boot... But I don't wanna give him that? Plus he scored against us and celebrated, yet didn't against Arsenal?
