The most exciting thing is the bench would look something like
Caballero
Zabaleta
Mangala
Yaya
KDB
Sane
Kelechi

Apologies if this is elsewhere on here - or indeed the internet (I'm too tired to search now), but is Kelechi Iheanacho not in Brazil, with Nigeria right now.

Which is where Sterling and pretty much any other decent under-23 year old English player should be too, IMO.

P.S. CTID, but I'd also like to see England win something, before I die!

Hart

Zaba
Otamendi
Fernandinho
Clichy

Fernando
Delph

Navas
Silva
Nolito

Aguero

Subs: Caballero, Denayer, Kolarov, Toure, Sterling, Sane, De Bruyne.

Some absolutely bizarre lineups and formations on here. Pep likes to be innovative but if you think he's going to go with something as mental as some of these suggestions in his first game in charge i suspect many will be in for a shock. He's going to have all eyes on him for the Sunderland game, i'd put money on him playing a fairly bog standard 4-5-1/4-3-3 variant, it's the movement that's going to be the biggest thing to look forward to.

Hart
Sagna
Otamendi
Stones(Kolarov if he's not signed)
Clichy
Fernandinho
Fernando
Delph
Silva
Sterling
Aguero

and that's still without Gundogan, Noltio, Bony Kompany, Nasri etc.

I was thinking just the same, everyone on here have become tactical pioneers.

I know Pep has a reputation for bringing on the youngsters, but at Barca he'd worked with them for some time and knew them inside out. At Bayern he introduced them into a fairly stable first team set up. Would he bring in two novice defenders in his first competitive game? He's only worked with them for a few weeks, only seen them play pre season friendlies. And he's also radically changing the way we play. I could just about see Tosin playing but only if he has Sagna or Zabaleta alongside to nursemaid him.

I actually think Tosin in defence would be fine, as long as you play Fernando and Fernandinho and instruct them both to protect him. At a stretch Delph but he seems to be more attacking recently. Sagna and Clichy would also be ideal on either side. Still don't think Tosin will be starting EPL games for quite a while yet.

It's possible we'll see the old Mangala-Otamendi which, when it works, works very well. All depends on how quickly Mangala adapts.

Nope. Which is the way I like it. Olympic football is a waste in my opinion, especially since it comes straight after the Euros, where every great European footballer is, and beccause of the age restrictions when most footballers peak around 28-30.

Just a quick one,

I am only a cityzens member but if I login online to buy a ticket, it says I can buy 6. Do all of the other people need to be cityzens as well?

I want to buy one for myself and then another to take the missus, she isn't that into football (yet) and I don't want to buy her a membership for potentially one game!

Cheers!

No, you can buy them (ask for a paper ticket)

Wanting to see England win something before you die - PMSL

De Bruyne has said that he probably won't be ready to start this game according to the OS.

My guess is that any player that doesn't play for at least 45 mins on Sunday will not be playing against Sunderland. I think some players such as Mangala & Yaya need at least 60 mins against Arsenal if they're to make the Sunderland starting line up. I expect we'll have much better idea of how we will line up against Sunderland after the Arsenal game.
