I'm sure I read somewhere that a spokesman said something like "if any Vuvuzuela lands on the pitch in anger, we will take action against them"


I'm just hoping some disgruntled fan who hates them buys one to launch.

I'm thinking of going over for one game with the sole aim of doing this.
 
Eh, by the end of last summer's Confederations Cup I had pretty much tuned them out. I don't even really notice them any more. Of course, ESPN is lowering the stadium sound in its audio mix on broadcasts in the States, so that could be helping. Still, it hasn't stopped many of my friends complaining on Facebook about nightmares involving being chased by swarms of bees...

They dont really bother me but a lot of next seasons games are going to seem very quiet after the world cup finishes.
But you'll be able to hear the atmosphere ;)
