Hitchiked to Vienna in 1970 and although we got lifts,me and my mate walked fooking miles.
Same season we did the same to Bilbao and stayed in San Sebastien.

Made the mistake, a couple of seasons ago, of walking to Anfield from the centre of Poundland (sorry, Liverpool). Was a bit worse for wear, so not quite concentrating on where I was going. Took for ever!

From city centre to eastlands it was a doddle, so if thats the fathest then not bad going for me, I hope i never have to walk miles and miles.

Drove to leicester for a cup game trying to meet up with my brother.

Walked for ages trying to find a pub he was in, only to walk some more when shithouse leicester fans kept repeatedly pointing me in the wrong direction.

My brother was coming down from Manchester I was driving up from the South.

Yeah, Ibco car park. Helluva way, under that bridge, past that gasholder and all those miles down Joe Mercer way and then miles through City Square, trudging past the miles between the turnstiles, until I'm round the front. Miles!
