Decided to have a reshuffle in the lounge and I have been thinking about mounting my 42" plasma on the wall.
I'm sure someone on here will have already done this, any tips or advice would be great!

it depends on where you want to mount it- flat wall or chimney breast? type of walls? solid or suspended floor?
more info needed

The best place from a viewing pont of view would be to mount on the chimney breast but I'm guesing that may not be a good idea due to the gas fire underneath?
Option 2 would to be put it on the flatwall, this will be boarded and skimmed over brick and could be a studded with a void behind to run cables etc.

The floor is suspended with access underneath so re-routing feeds etc is not a problem.
Thanks for your reply

You need a wall bracket that fits screens of upto 42 inches from argos or
comet - cost about £80.00 then ring up the geezer round the corner from me
who installs them for a ton - easy peasy!!

if you are that way inclined to mount a telly, it could be awkward doing it on a wall.
i suggest candles, soft music, get it pissed on a cheap bottle of plonk then go in for the kill on the settee! ;)

*for extra pleasure plug her in just when you get on the vinegar stroke*
