Not trolling at all. What is unreasonable about my post?

I think the language in all of your posts has been pretty unreasonable. You've been aggressive, arrogant and sarcastic for no logical reason.

SWP's back said:
But I shall humour you, what change would you like?"

That implied that our society is either perfect or unchangeable by activism. Both ideas are unreasonable. Not only is there a wealth of evidence that shows how activism has changed societies throughout history, there's a wealth of evidence that suggests our society is not perfect.

I don't think anything you've said has demonstrated any reasoning at all.
Aggressive? If you consider what I have written aggressive then i suggest you go back to knitting yoghurt.

I simply feel there are better ways to enact change than "occupying" a space where people are trying to work. Luckily the majority feel the same hence only 200 people in a country of 260m doing so.
So couldn't you just enlighten us all with these "better ways" instead of adding antagonistic comments to a thread you have already dismissed as pointless?

It's all about you really isn't it?

When you've got Citibank bragging about plutonomy with it listing the main threat to the plutonomy as a 'backlash' with the peasants demanding a more equitable share why not occupy Wall Street.

Thats a blast from the past Skashion, a the good times will never end report!! Nowt wrong with occupying wall st at all (peacefully like) but have something to say worth listening to - asking companies to just give themselves over to the population at large doesn't fall into that category.

Sit-ins are actually one of the most successful forms of protest, just look at the Quit India movement. Occupy Wall Street started 3 weeks ago. At the beginning it was almost unheard of, this week it was covered by BBC News. When there is evidence of police officers using disproportionate violence against the public, it can draw attention to the protesters' cause and gain support.

Today, New York City labor unions and community groups pledged there support for a rally on Wednesday.

There's no basis for anything you say, other than "I simply feel", which is unreasonable.

It is not unreasonable at all. It's my opinion and one shared by the majority (even if a union will "show support" for a single day).

And no, I don't consider "unwashed cunts" aggressive language. If I'd said, "Oi emptypockets, grow a fucking pair you unwashed ****", that would have been agressive language, though I avoided that pitfall. What I partook in was derogatory pigeonholing, though I'm deeply saddened to offend your sensibilities.

As for Dabz, yes, it's all about me. Enjoy your sit in. I'll bet it acheives its aims and goals in no time.....

You redeemed yourself with honesty then let yourself down with a presumption.
I only posted this- http://www.washingtonsblog.com/2011/09/ ... owing.html - United Airlines pilots joining the protest in full uniform are not the "unwashed layabouts" you seem to think they are. Futhermore I read today that around a hundred NYPD have refused to take part.

Ooooh look, more yoghurt knitting knobheads-

Oh come off it dabs, it is a fair presumption to assume that the (small by all historic standards) protest in unlikely to acheive its aims.

You presumed I would be taking part.
The outcome of all this is pure conjecture. I dont know what effect this will have.
I know one thing. To my eyes, this is growing into something not seen before and I applaud those taking part for caring enough to get off their arses and trying to change things rather sneering at their efforts.

You misinterpret me fella. I meant "enjoy it" as you would watching a game on the TV. I didn't think you'd be hitching/travelling with a womens commune in a pink camper van to Wall St.

An outcome is pure conjecture sure. Saying United will anihilate Norwich tomorrow is conjecture also but it does not mean we can debate the likely outcome or our thoughts on its protagonists though.

This is a forum afterall.

There is 80+ of these protests happening worldwide, including Manchester. I could take part if I want.
