How about liverpool were just better on the day?

and yet the scoreboard says different! Sign of a good team that if this other team allegedly played us off the park, yet they got no more out of the game than we did.

Should have won that.
Before the game a question was asked, How many Liverpool players would make it into the City team ?
I'd taken NONE OF THEM in the Liverpool team.
City were made to look ordinary for more than 1/2 that match and had anyone other than Hart been in goal we'd won.

thats the one that got me. i mean fucking hell theres delusion and theres fucking total blindness to accept the truth.

RAWK wasn't as bad as i thought it would be and most called it right in my view. However, although no one said it explicitly, their comments were an unwitting tribute to how far we've come.

Last April they caught us on a bad day and hammered us 3-0. They convinced themselves then that we were nothing to be scared of and King Kenny would be winning them the league this season. Yesterday they largely outplayed us on a bit of an off day for us and were happy with the performance and the point.

Like you PB,just come off RAWK and only read the last 3 pages, but nowhere near as bad as I imagined.
Number of posts claimed that a point against the "potential PL winners" was a good result and they wouldn`t be playing us every week.
Quite impressed overall at their fair assessment.
On a personal note I`m delighted with a point and as Alan Hansen always tells us "lets see what City are like under pressure ??"
Think we`ve now proved that in our last two away games at QPR and LFC !!

Currently embroiled in some e-mail banter with one of them at work now. Had this reply to my assertion that there was a lot of diving from the Liverpool players:

'Ye should have had more sent off – esp Kompany. Hatchet man..all fouls'

I haven't stopped laughing since I read that.

Send him this link that shows why Kompany stayed on the pitch, <a class="postlink" href="http://h7.abload.de/img/suarezg6ujn.gif" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;">http://h7.abload.de/img/suarezg6ujn.gif</a>

And also ask him what he thought of Agger's elbow that cut Aguero above his eye in the first half.

Ta for that. I'm still waiting for a reply from my last missive, but he seems to have run out of steam. Perhaps he's concocting some lengthy reply. Still laughing at the Kompany comment though. Priceless.

I really dont give a fucking shit about them to be honest..

Posters on here are obsessed with rawk & probably vice versa..

At the end of the day they tanked us yesterday & we got a point.

I say not. Saying that we had played an extremely hard CL away tie earlier in the week and Liverpool had the entire time off I say we were pretty even.

Their chances only came after Balo was (wrongfully) sent off.

Our creative outlets got kicked to shit. Reina should've gone. The ref was bloody unfair. And there was at least 5 occassions where Suarez should've been booked for simulation. And yet we still kept control.

Hart was immense and had it not been for a huge unfortunate stroke of bad luck we'd have left there with 3 points.

What a knob. Why would anyone pay attention to someone that makes Posh look intelligent. Reminds me of the old beckham 'tactics' joke.............
