Were it not for their 'relationships' with the media and their Britishness, neither Warnock nor Redknapp would still be involved in the game.
What is this based on exactly? Apart from you disliking them. Warnock has 7 promotions in his career as a manager. That along with Dave Bassett is a record in English football.

People don't like to admit but Harry done a good job at Bournemouth, got them promoted, good job at Portsmouth got them promoted/f.a cup (awaits he bankrupted them etc..), excellent job at spurs. Got qpr promoted, leslies damage had been done when he got relegated.

Maybe that's why they have jobs.

You prove my point. For some reason, Redknapp is never to blame. In this case it was Leslie's fault. Redknapp has spent a lot of money, got them up via the playoffs and is now struggling in the prem. You don't have to wait for the bankruptcy comments of course, nor the tax affairs comments, as you are clearly already fully conversant with the information.

My opinion is that the press would be massively less forgiving of him were he not one of the good guys. I hear him spoken of regularly in reverential terms as one of the 'friends of the station.' If he were a European manager he would get a far less easy ride. He has had historic successes but his recent performances do not justify the reputation.

Warnock's record of promotions is a record but you fail to mention the number of times he has been dismissed following relegations or leaving his club in a precarious position. Nothing against either manager but I think their failings are generally ignored.

Loved goals on Sunday today with Dean Windass and Jimmy Bullard.
Windass was saying that he got on great with Warnock and how he was good at getting results.
Jimmy pipes in "Not with Palace he aint".

All managers have failings. Yes Warnock has been dismissed a lot. Not many managers get to wenger/baconface levels where they can walk away when they want.

Not sure what paying tax has to do with management ability. Should Messi be out of the game as well?

Of course they have made bad decisions buy they clearly have good management abilities, which you conviently ignore because you dislike them both.

I refer the honourable gentleman to my final sentence. Paying tax has nothing to do with management ability of course but do you really think the issue would have 'gone away' as quickly if it were a manager less conversant with the British press?

I don't think our opinions are too far apart. My point is simply that the British media would give other managers far more stick for some of what we see from more traditional managers who seem to maintain their status in the British game.

In Newcastle for Christmas and word up here is, Pardew is off to Palace, but not sure how true it is so don't shoot me.

Why the fuck would he go there unless he wanted to live in London again?

If I was him I would fuck off to London, after the way the fans have treated him recently. My suggestion of Pulis to replace him (should Pardew leave) hasn't gone down well here lol.

I don't think Palace can afford the £6m compensation.
