My favourite Beatle too. Watched a documentary on the Wilburys the other week, we've lost some greats over the years.


Now we have modern rhythm and bass shit. Musically we had the best of it guys and gals.

I remember when the Wilburys were in the charts and a work friend, said to me when one of their songs came on the radio, “great song, great band”. I didn’t appreciate them that much at the time. Put it down to being young and foolish. Years on, I picked up on what my friend said and yes, they really were. I was listening to George on the telly only yesterday about the Wilburys and I can agree with you about most of modern so called music.

John was always a guy who could say one thing one day and another thing the next, Paul was always the driven Uber workaholic and most ambitious of the four, Ringo was well just Ringo really but George was just always down to earth, like you could meet him in the pub and he just be an ordinary guy.
