Had he let go, the guy had his back to goal and was going away from it.

He's quick once he's got going i'll conceed; but as for running at people, not once has he tonight and rarely does he ever.
He'll happily run into space but if a defender comes even close he'll run for the line and lose it or turn round and pass it back.
He can't tackle, can't challenge and the only person he scares is himself.
He might have scored 3 goals in 3 starts or whatever it was, but he doesn't offer nearly enough!
I'll expect the "it's not his game to tackle" response and the berating of Robinho for the same offense now.

It was a free-kick but Richards shouldn't hold a players shirt when he is nearer to the goal than Saha anyway...

it was the refs assistant that was the cheat he clearly seen that richards was pulling out side the box but waited till inside the box to give the penalty that aside still very stupid of richards.

Thought it was a penalty in all honesty...

Initial grab and tug of the shirt was outside the box and the linesman immediately flagged, the ref allowed play to continue and the muppet kept hold of his shirt tugging away well inside the box.

Ref gave him a second chance to let go of the shirt once inside the box, but the thick **** kept hold and tugging away.

Can't have any complaints about that one.
