Was this a surprise?

I'm not surprised in the slightest. Any team with a bit of pace, technically adept players who work their bollocks off, will cause us enormous problems. We rely on poor opposition front men, and our strike force to bring home the goodies. If we look as though it might be a game that needs chasing, too many of our players seem to accept it and do little to overcome it.

It's not a surprise to anybody. We all knew exactly what Pellegrini would do, everybody does, that's part of the problem. Exactly the same will happen next week but probably worse.

No surprise. We are a team of expensively collected players that seem to have no training during the week on anything from setups, finishing, defending, set pieces, no ideas on how to control a ball and no leadership on the pitch, no desire and the laziest team i have seen for some time and a clueless manager. They have a well drilled, very organised team that clearly spends time in training on things and play to their strengths.

Not really. I know there has been a sentiment floating about this week about "winning it for Manuel". But I'm not buying it.

The players that know they are going to be sold know it and the ones that are staying know it. So i don't really expect any rallying effort at this point.

Not really. There's been too many times we've been an absolute disgrace this season. Once or twice can happen to any side but how many times have we been blown away this season? Not since the dark days have we had so many woeful performances in a season. It's easier to pick out the games we've played really well. I've not been that impressed with Leicester in either game against them this season but they wanted it more and looked very dangerous every time they attacked.

As soon as I saw the team it looked like Liverpool allover again. Why leave our 2 quickest defenders on the bench when speed was there strength.Sagna should have been in place of demi and clichy for Kolorov. I would be kind if I said Pellegrini got his tactics wrong because he doesn't have any.

All good teams have a strong basis, we just don't have anything and always look like concending goals

It certainly wasn't a surprise to me! Our defence wasn't going to be able to handle the pressure and pace of Leicester. Get Sagna at CB and Clichy at LB until the end season. Stop fucking rotating a piss poor defence.

No not that we lost but it was a surprise the gulf in class that was seen today. It will have the Sheikh furious and Pep angered that Pellegrini let it out of the bag.

No. I went from expecting to win games like this to praying we get something, anything out of them a long time ago.

Shame really as I was getting used to this expecting to win lark - yeah I know very raggish :)

Anyway here's hoping we get that winning feeling back with Pep.

How many real top-notch performances have we put in this season in the PL? Over the full 90 minutes? Precious few. Even the chasing we gave Newcastle, we were poor for nearly all the first half, until we had a freakish 20 minute spell. I'm extremely disappointed tonight (just as well I don't have a cat to kick), but surprised? I'd have to say, not really.

It shouldn't be a surprise to anyone who's been watching us all season. But we do hand teams a lot on a plate - I mean did Pellegrini think about the implications of having Demichelis up against Vardy? All Vardy had to do was sit on his shoulder, wait for the ball over the top then leave him for dead. Surely, having played Sagna at CB last week the thought might have occurred to him to keep him there.

A 35 year old CB and an average LB against the two form players in the league.

No it wasn't a surprise

Today could and should of been more for them we've been poor to often this season so to most of us it was no suprise! The worst thing to take is the lack of desire for so many of our players

I can think of about 4 games were we've looked like a quality side, just 4.

Was definitely on the cards , Aguero's goals and some last minute winners have papered over the cracks , really disappointed to see two stalwarts like Merlin and Yaya so out of form , would like to think Pep's arrival will invigorate Merlin but Yaya is never going to be the same player , our general lack of leadership and team spirit has cost us dear this season , maybe the quadruple is not on now :)
