Was this a surprise?

Definitely agree with the first part. Live with fans of other teams & they keep telling me we'll definitely win etc., people who don't watch us week in week out really don't realise how poor we've been all year until I tell them a few stats like this one.
I had cunts telling me "how could you lose with silva and yaya" my only response was "well you obviously don't watch us much do you?". The only two players for me that should start are hart and Kun. The rest are just as hopeless as each other atm.

No. I thought we could win but I also thought unless we were set up right we would lose. After seeing how we have performed lately I had little confidence.

Of course it wasn't. Bar a few head-in-the-sand types, we even predicted it.

Called it in the pre-thread too. Our all out attacking would play right into Leicester's hands and it obviously did. It's frustrating that the manager doesn't change things.

As already been said.....most of us saw this coming.....we've had the same lack on fight and hunger all season......and when we play a team like Leicester that play with passion and play for each other, those issues show up even more....I'm disappointed we got beat but whats worse is the way we getting beat this season.....most of this team should be embarrassed with themselves and dont deserve to even put on a City shirt.....

3 points against the top 6 says it all. Pellegrini's taken us backwards. The defence is the worst it has in the past 6 years, the midfield is so imbalanced and we have 1 world class striker carrying the team. Nastasic is better than Mangala or Demichelis but we let a promising young CB go for peanuts. Why play Toure in a midfield 2 or give him the armband when he's often one of our worst players? How is Kolarov starting?

It was always a possibility but optimism always triumphs before such a crucial game. The players did not perform today and that is the bottom line.

Soon as I saw Demi instead of Sagna I didn't really think a win was on the cards

and then I saw the retarded Delph on the left/Yaya in a cm 2 (if you can call it a 2 - it's basically just Dinho) thing again and wasn't surprised at all how the game started

Wasn't surprised MP kept things the same in the 2nd half either. I would say he has gone awol already but this is nowt new.

Not surprised we got embarrassed again.

Plus Leicester have now won all 3 of their games away at top 6 clubs . They are perfectly suited to playing on the break and, as usual, we had no plan about how to combat them. That is one thing that will change dramatically next season.
Indeed & sadly we are extremely predictable. We force a system on players who can't manage it regardless of opposition & who we have fit, whereas you'd expect Pep to adapt the system to fit the players when we play against different styles & have injuries to certain positions.

Really hope Pellers gets a top 4 finish & a trophy this year for a decent send off as I like the guy, but it will be a nice change of pace to see more flexibility & adaptability in our side once Pep gets stuck into them.
