Was this better than 99?

Qued up for 14 hours for a ticket for the Gillingham game and yes it was very special day as IMO if we didn't go up we would have been in deep shit.

But for me Sunday was better as we had to win in 90 (95mins) whereas in 99 we drew and won on pens.

both very special days but to win the league at home for the first time in 44 years and in doing so piss our rivals off Sunday was better.

, without the '99 experaince, there would have been no 2012 to savoir.

Probably .....

but even the players we had back then were , in the main , good enough to eventually take us up out of that division .. if not that season , then maybe the next ..

let's face it , the third division provided a rude awakening to us , and if we hadn't of fucked about so much in the first half of that season at places like York , and understimated other teams , we'd probably have had automatic promotion sewn up by April !

As it was we had to rely on a post-christmas cavalry charge into the play-off places!

Much better, i never ever thought it would be bettered

Maybe if we had dicked QPR 6-0 it wouldn't of beaten it but 1 minute left, 1 chance to win the Premier League Aguero pure unadulterated gay man hugging elation

Always had a dream we would win the league so this tops everything for me, but what i love is suddenly we have so many more moments for us to cherish. But never forget how those lads in 99 brought us back from the depths

I was 15 in '99, and not a regular match goer, watching on TV, yeah it was pretty good still.

Sunday...I'm now 28, got responsibilities, a house, car etc...but I was actually there. Nothing means more to me than this, and to be there, sharing it with all those people who all felt exactly the same as I did....wow.

I never ever thought the sheer drama and emotion of Wembley 99 would be surpassed. This was different. The horror of losing the game wasn't as bad - we would still have been runners up. But the prize was so much greater.

And the significance of knocking Man United off their perch resonated around the football world.

May 99 was the turning point. May 12 was the pinnacle.

It won't ever get any better. I went into shock until Monday morning.

sunday was as good as it's ever going to get which is a bit sad.

i don't think we'll ever be in such a perfect situation again, than that what we were in sunday after sergio scored.

Tough one, however the rags were not directly involved. If i had to pick I would say this was better. To beat the scum does it for me! Both are up there with my wedding day and birth of my two kids.
DO NOT GET ME TO PUT IT IN ORDER as the mrs will kill me...... :)

I got round this one by explaining to the missus that, whilst some personal experiences were better, never have I experienced such a range of emotions, from complete misery to total joy in the space of a couple of minutes.
