just having a beer in the garden and due to me being on bluemoon didnt see a wasp drop in my pint took a slug and the **** sgtung my lip.has there ever been a more pointless insect.and did i say ****

There's thousands of the things this year where I live - I live in the countryside and no word of a lie this morning swatted 11 of them in my living room (lined them all up to show the missus when she got back)

Got stung on the neck the other week by one and as the op said, I've been prevented from sitting in the garden this evening because of the f**kin things.

Again as the OP states, completely pointless creature

They let out a "distress" chemical when attacked to the wasps in the neighborhood and then the others come piling in to rescue it.
****s

we got a wasps nest in out guttering... thinking about blasting it with a hose.... I know youre supposed to get the council in to do it but.... why? (apart from you may get attacked)

I accidently pulled the side off a nest a couple of years ago (restoring a outbuilding) & despite me beating Linford Christies time for 100metres over a muddy farm yard I still got 5 stings for my trouble (one of the little bastards was clinging onto my eye lash while trying to sting me in the eye),
I think its fair to say They dont like me & I dont like them!
