I asked how confident you were feeling about your season a few weeks ago, and the general consensus was fairly positive.

Now, you've hit a little stale patch, and things aren't quite marching forward as many of you might have hoped.

10 points behind Chelsea, all be it with a spare game, and only 5 points in front of Everton, who have played with a bare bones squad. What a missed opportunity though, to be only 1 point above Liverpool, who seem to be the one team from the top 4 who have opened the door for you a little.

5 draws in a row, but looking at these teams below, you would expect hard matches, and that's what you got, but you have a team much better than these sides.

Villa
Wigan
Fulham
Birmingham
Burnley

Is there an obvious issue that the fans have been discussing that isn't being recognised by Hughes?

Are you happy with team selections?

Why are you still leaking so many goals?

Is your team still too attack minded, and are they a little too cocky about their present new opportunity?

Who is the guy that stands out above the rest, and who is letting the team down?

Are you still confident about a top 4 finish, or even a top 6 finish, or have a few doubts sprung up after a bad run?

How would you fix what ever is wrong?

Is there actually anything wrong, or are teams just upping their game against you?

we still need time to gel the team together and still have time, personally im confident we will get better as the season goes on.

my question to you is whats wrong with your team that has had a few years to gel but are playing really bad?????

makes me laugh why outsiders say why are we leaking so many goals, look at the stats of how many we have leaked 1st,its not how many we have leaked it is the manner of which we are leaking them they are really soft goals

Goals from your main rivals:

Chelsea 29 v 8
Arsenal 36 v 14
Utd 23 v 12
Spurs 23 v 17
Everton 15 v 17
Liverpool 27 v 18
Villa 20 v 12
City 21 v 14

All your main rivals except for Everton and Liverpool are above you in the table.

Liverpool will soon get their act together, and Everton will too once players return.

This leaves you in a very difficult situation regarding your European aspirations, as historically, every single one of these teams is VERY strong in the run in.

Surely you must be a little concerned, cockiness aside?

It might have something to do with us having a massive injury problem lol.

In recent weeks, we were without, and some still without:

Yobo
Jagielka
Baines
Neville
Pienaar
Osman
Arteta
Yakubu
Vaughan
Anichebe
Bilyaletdinov

Unable to play in Europe:

Heitinga
Neil

Oh.... and almost forgot Lescott :o)

But they're slowly coming back.

Well, I don't think we will make it this season, especially when you look at our fixtures between now and March, but one thing is for sure though, and that is when our team are all fit, we have quite a team now, so one season taking a step backwards isn't so bad.

Yes, we got stuffed, but by a very good team, and the first match we had to play our youngsters, but heck, we're still in Europe though.

When is your next European match?

Are you top of your group?

Give a shit, we'll see where you finish at the end of the season, your squad is fucked and europe is getting in the way of it, you won't be one of our rivals in the league.
