City recently ran a competition on their Facebook fan page to win one of 10 blue season tickets.

Here are the winners:

Allan Chadwick from Australia
Matthew Collins from the UK
Shane Corolan from Ireland
Janet Hall from the UK
Ryan Pickering from the UK
Abdennebi Yakoub from Algeria
Michael Kersys from the USA
Benzoubir Brahim from Algeria
Janie Braddy from the UK and
Mohammed Sar Khan from India

I am all for fans outside of the uk and see how it is important to build a global fan base but its seriously stupid to let people from OZ,Algeria, USA and india win season cards. I doubt they are going to travel to see one game let alone all of them.

It would have been better to give those tickets to fans who can go regularly

All City have done in effect is given these winners CityCards, they still have to pay for a game if they want to come over to watch it.

Not a problem as far as I'm concerned, isn't depriving anyone else of a ticket.

Maybe they wish to sell the cards? and get something for them?

They're not seasoncards, it's Blue membership. It's just simply giving them free membership to the club, not a ticket for every match. Seasoncards are gold, platinum and superbia. This simply gives them other benefits.
