Bit of a long shot but are there any Blues up here in Edinburgh? Are there any decent City friendly pubs around here to watch the Match tonight? we are Up here for a week or so , no Sky in the hotel! Crisis ! he he

there are not really any City friendly pubs in Edinburgh and a lot of the town centre pubs dont show football
however depending where your staying The Queens Arms,Scotts of Rose Street (2.50 a pint Sunday to Wed ) Berts Bar,Sportsters at Waverley train station are all decent for live sport
there will be Rags about though .... if you need any more info then text me

The 3 sisters has a huge outdoor screen, it's on cowgate if that helps

brrrr its about -5 still up here at night

They do a decent pie and chips in Berts Bar as well!

Watched city beat Newcastle in bert,s bar even though hearts v hibs was on TV at the same time.about half a dozen blues in there.The pies are nice as well

Seemed loads of Rags about when I was up in Edinburgh - they played Newcastle at home so it at least offered me a bit of baiting material as they lost. Lol

Go to the Cask & Barrel on West Preston St - it's an old saloon style pub, one big square room with a round bar in the middle, good views all over. Fairly central.

Theyve got loads of TVs and regularly show Prem, Spanish and Scottish, even at the same time.

They serve lots of decent ale. Game will definitely be on there.

Watched the Barca game in a Rose Street pub with a load of Scots who supported City and had a great night. The Wetherspoons off there is enormous.

Hi, i've spoken to my mate who lives in edinburgh. He's an Inverness fan who's English team is City due to his love of the Manc music scene and general Manc coolness. I work in Edinburgh and always meet Bill for a beer, he's a great craic. He said he's going in,'The Standing Order' Weatherspoons on George St. They've got a big screen and the atmosphere's good apparently. He's going to check online that it's definitely on in there and will gladly meet you to watch it. I'll find out and post it on here. It's right in the middle of town and easy to find

Standing Order (weatherspoons) is always the best place to go, it's huge, has good food, decent priced drink and it's always packed
