What I love is that we are playing with no hesitancy in possession. And if we do lose it we hunt it back down. Not only did De Bruyne have yet another great day on the ball but off the ball he was fearsome at winning it back.
We talk about the FBs making a huge difference but having Navas gone is helping too. He consistently cut balls backwards when in possession and then failed to cut but rather remained pinned on the touchline as the outlet, which killed momentum. No one is doing that now; the movement is so fast and so often forward and inside.
A sheer joy to watch.

Sterling had been the worst City player up to that moment. And still was in the end. Can't see how he was good, let alone great. Honestly.
I just saw him nearly begging Pep to take the penalty and Pep going back to his seat shaking his head. Don't think it looked good, but fair play to him. It was very well taken.
