I don't think there's anything wrong with leaning into their perception of us in this context. It's not like he'd usually talk about other teams like that, but they are being right twats so why not wind them up a bit?

I also think City glory hunters are a bit of a myth in general to be honest, never met a City fan who started supporting us after the takeover personally because it's a decision that most people make at a younger age than that.

Yep we could fill York's ground 20 times over with shit glory hunters, that'll change tho and probably is with the younger generation. Older 'fans/armchairs/gobshites' will never follow us luckily, as they believe all the crap innthe media.
