I'm curiously much more confident that we'd win after last game.

Ederson
Walker - Otamendi - Mangala - Danilo
Fernandinho
B. Silva - Gundogan
Sterling - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - Sane
Aguero

What's up with Silva does anyone know? Hard game that today wanted 3 points but satisfied with 1 in the end bring on Watford. Happy blue year peeps

ederson

danilo - otamendi - stones - delph ( if fit if not danilo left and walker right )

b silva - dinho - gundogan

sterling - aguero - sane

We need more urgency than we have seen of late. First half today was pedestrian - hair dryer from Pep needed tomorrow
I remember a game earlier in the season (may even have been Palace at home) where were werent really at it first half and pep said after the game that he wasnt happy wiht how many touches each player was taking. He told them at HT and Second half we murdered the team.
I think the same is happening. De Bruyne, B Silva, Gudogan are taking too many touches and slowing us down. It may be a sign of mental fatigue as they arent as switched on. Example was De Bruynes pass to Sane today. Earlier in the season he takes one touch and releases it. Took too many and Sane had to slow down. We need more two touch football.

Having Stones, Delph and perhaps Silva back would be huge. Narrow win for the Blues, I think.

As I see Chelsea as our main threat now, 3 points on Tuesday night would be very handy as they’ve got a tough one the following evening. Hope we can pursuade Silva to nip back for a game... he can then have more time off if necessary against Burnley and Bristol. To be fair, if we could hand pick a game to follow today’s match, Watford at home (in their current form) would probably be it.

Completely agree, perfect opportunity to get back to winning ways.

Pep will want to return to winning ways in the league V Watford, with injuries as they are, and some players coming back to fitness and not up to speed yet, it could be the FA cup game V Burnley that gets a stack of players rested or an unusual line up, even to the extent of not worrying if we go out of the cup. I can see the Bristol semi's being more important (as a cup final only 2 games away).

Nobody was more disappointed than me at the way the palace game ended. ( The injuries more than the result). Having said that, we drew, playing mostly sub-par football, and I strongly believe that v Watford, it will be business as usual. City 4 Watford 1, and a brace from kun ( competition for Sanchez).

I'm in awe of our players conditioning. To keep the intensity every couple of days is a magnificent achievement. We may be misfiring in front of goal but today we were superb in our determination to get that winner and up the tempo of our play in that second half.

As for the Watford game, they'll be hurting from that loss against Swansea but they do have a few injuries. We should be looking to win this by 2 or 3-0 .
