Ederson Walker Stones Otamendi Delph (if fit) Fernandinho Silva Bernardo Sane Sterling Aguero

If you get the weather we're getting at the moment later this afternoon/evening, bring a brolly. It's been pissing for about two hours now, and it's supposed to be heading eastwards from here.

Probably a fool's errand trying to guess the team without knowing the full extent of the injuries to Delph, Kompany and De Bruyne but here goes...

---------------------Ederson-----------------------
Walker ---- Stones ---- Otamendi ---- Danilo
------------------Fernandinho--------------------
---------Gundogan----------D. Silva-------------
Sterling------------Aguero-----------------Sane

Bench: Bravo, Mangala, Zinchenko, Yaya, Bernardo, Diaz, De Bruyne

I'd try to give Stones 60 minutes. If that's a bit optimistic then have Mangala start and Stones coming off the bench later in the game. There's always the chance that Kompany or Delph were being saved for this game, but if they weren't considered fit enough to make the bench on Sunday there doesn't seem any pressing need to rush them back as we've been fine defensively in their absence.

If we can get ourselves a couple of goals ahead during any of the next three home games i would want us to be giving Diaz as many minutes as possible. With Jesus out and Sane a little off form it'd be a real boost if he can prove himself a viable forward option for the second half of the season. However much we want him, i simply don't see Arsenal letting Sanchez go in this window so i think we need to work on finding solutions with the squad we have. I'm certainly not expecting Diaz to force his way into our first XI but i do think he can be used to ease the burden on those players and given our point advantage i'd actually prefer we took that chance in these winnable looking home league games than in the knock-out competitions.

Agree with this lineup, though I'm worried Leroy is getting a bit tired at the moment
