Maybe I get it correct tonight?
City in a period of wasting good chances and me predicting 4-0/5-0 wins. After the Palace game I expect them to be really focused and, rightfully, angry at drawing the game and the heavy physical side of things. Channel that anger correctly and we should see a super, clinical display tonight.

I think it will be tough tonight. The atmosphere will probably be flat and the players exhausted. Hopefully Silva’s return will give everyone a lift. I imagine the Family Stand will be half empty with it being an 8pm kick off and the kids back at school tomorrow, although I’m going to take my lad anyway.
 
Strongest possible team tonight , if merlin , KDB , Stones and Delph are fit they should all play and consolidate the 15 points lead , dont give the distant chasing pack any hope at all , we can rest players for the cup games , we need the title and a good run at the Champs league , really dont think the treble or quadruple is possible in modern day football , so the League Cup and FA Cup are not a priority ,but if we do progress with our younger and fringe sqaud players in the cups then great otherwise lets concentrate on a double , i'll have a Hennessy :)
 
Every 3 points we collect is another nail in the coffin for our opponents. Hope to see this game out early, a lead with a couple of goals at halftime would do nicely.
 
Pass these fcukers to death. Make them chase the ball on our glorious turf. There can be no poor pitch excuses etc tonight. We’re at home, there won’t be many attending, so no doubt that will give the bitter ‘Emptihad’ cnuts their little boost.

I’m sure Watford have got their own problems - these clubs with smaller squads often suffer worst over this tight schedule. Didn’t realise that Aguero was carrying an injury though

I wouldn't say Sane is out of form and moody about it. He is a talented kid who wants to win and does some petulant things. He should have held his run against Palace when De Bruyne played him in but blamed De Bruyne for delaying. David Silva plays that ball earlier and Sane has missed Silva's ability to play him in behind the opposition. De Bruyne likes to carry the ball more and Sane needs to adapt and delay his run.

Gundogan needs to step up if De Bruyne is out. Run the gane as he can. We still have more than enough to win this game. Bernardo can play the Silva role. Gundogan the box to box role. I think he will benefit fron De Bruyne's absence as he will be the one that the team look to feed the ball and keep possession ticking over.

The games still come thick and fast but if we can get through this one it is another game closer to the title.
 
Christ, reading this forum is all doom & gloom. We have enough fit players to comfortably win this tonight.

The domestic treble has never been done. However, I don’t think we could ever be so well situated to achieve it as now. The lead in the league should be insurmountable, we are favourably drawn in the League Cup, and drawn at home in the FA Cup, too. However, I feel pursuit of European glory, which I fear may elude us, will see us surrender the opportunity to do something truly historic.
