The squad is more than sufficient to get 3 points off most teams in this league providing the 11 on the pitch stay focused and work hard. Every faith that Pep will get that message across. Palace got lucky and that's unlikely to happen twice on the bounce no matter who plays.
 
Bit of a shit that Iheanacho has gone from matchwinner at City to benchwarmer at Leicester.

Perfect player to back up the situation, never complaind, scored goals regularly including a last min one at Palace, if I remember rightly.

If we could get Nmecha coming on & pinching a couple of goals it would be perfect. Irrespective of whether he makes it or not afterwards. Just having that extra body in there, to nick one at the right time, can be enough to win an extra trophy or two.

Sadly, superb player we were blessed to have BUT well past his sell by date and actually puts greater pressure on his team mates when he is on the pitch.

His best position is encouraging them from the bench or getting the crowd going with the Yaya song by warming up at various times in the game.

Think this game just might be slightly harder than most think,Watford are in a bit of a slump but their away form is far better than their home form,and with injuries and changes to our team I think we will still win but maybe a 1-0..

Sorry, have to disagree. Nacho was imo out of his depth with us
 
We are a wounded animal ATM and personally although our winning run has ended it was the dirty manner in which it happened. The chasing pack may sense blood and with our injuries we need to put in a 100% team shift. Let's get the win to send out a message that if you try and kick us off the park we can dig in and start a run again. It's the only way these bastards can try to stop us now. 3-0 COME ON CITY

No Chance.
Watford are packed with power, energy and speed.
Results may not have gone their way but they have some very, very handy individual players with the abilities to pick off and bulldoze an aged Toure

A strong indication for me at how important the CM position is to fill in the summer as we simply cannot afford to rest Ferna in any game against anything other than cannon fodder at the moment.

If we don't it will kill us later on in season so on that I'll be happy to take a chance in a home game against a poor Watford team with yaya in.

Now that would be interesting viewing. I don't think we've played v 10 men yet (aside from Everton for a couple mins). My heart says a landslide victory, but head says we struggle to break down a mahoosive bus!

I totally get it mate and I agree he needs resting, but this is not a poor Watford team
They played Chelsea off the park at the bridge, beat arsenal, drew with liverpool and stood in the top 4 for a while as you know

I'm only arsed because their best player is Doucoure in CM and he would walk all over Yaya given the chance to run. no way that guy is at Watford next year
 
No De Bruyne for me if fit, rest him the next 7-10 days. Opportunity for Ilkay and Bernardo to impress, and the 2 upcoming cup games for that matter. What I would like to see is for Sergio and Leroy to get back to form, and even though Watford will be no pushover I think it provides the perfect opportunity to do just that.
 
Fairly straightforward game-plan for Watford tonight: kick the fuck out of our lads, get away with it and go home happy with a point. Let's hope the Pepmeister can work some magic again and get us the three points. CTID.

Believe me yaya worry's me too but in a game where we will have 75% possession I defo think its a small gamble to take
