We will win this as long as there is no wind, no icy patches, no long grass, no opponent trying and a ref that will give us a penalty for diving.

We can also play simply the way we have been doing under Pep. Beautiful football, no moaning about weather conditions, accepting a parked buss and bent refereeing, and win.

Starting 11 is simply not to my interest. Anyone will do. Just hope Pep has virtually every player available as injuries is our main thread.

Impossible to pick a team this early in the week, just need to see what state everyone is in at the end of it. I'm guessing there'll be 1 or 2 days off for most first and we need to see the extent of the injuries to KDB and Stones first. The good news is that Jesus and Delph were both in that Sunday training video so reinforcements are coming.

Do we play Mahrez? I think we should. My only concern is that he lacks pace, is too predictable and appears to slow our attack phase in the final 3rd of the pitch. There’s no doubt the guy has talent, and plenty of PL experience, he just need to show it with us.

I know many are pining for Sane, but personally, I'd play Mahtez. See if we can activate him finally.

Sane can start vs Schalke.

Yep, agreed. It suits to give him a rest as it allows the two Silvas to play inside and means we can give Leroy a run, I’d guess Saturday was his doghouse for the strop and he will be back in favour for Sat.

I would put good money on Pep selecting Mahrez for the Watford game. It would be good for Bernado to move back inside as his energy will help cover for Fern's absence.
Vinny and Ota to take care of Deeney and co.

Not used to waiting a week for a game nowadays!
 
It will be such a kick in the teeth for Liverpool if we win this. For them to go into that Burnley game four points behind when at one stage they had a ten point lead has to be so deflating.

After all KDB being out could be a new chance for Mahrez and Bernardo to cause havoc on the right side
by switching between RW and right AM, giving both of them more freedom for their creativity.
