One thing that some people on this forum have had difficulty grasping over the years is that, with Pep, it's the whole package, or nothing. You can't separate Pep the serial winner of league titles from Pep the serial winner, full stop. He does not see the point in being in a competition if he's not there to win it. And he imbues his teams with that mentality. The very idea of “binning off” a competition would be alien to him.
