Watford post match thread

Don't know her name but the host for NBC in the States when sending it back to the announcers at Vicarage Road says, "I guess that's what money can buy"

That's very hard lines on Watford, tbh. They didn't really create many clear chances, but constantly threatened us going forward. Two great, great goals in a morass of dross. One of the rare times I've seen Silva turn in a rank bad performance, but who was actually good, when you look at it?
Anyhoo… three points, and I'll run with them. We're still in there. What would have deeply pissed me off about losing is that Arsenal were anything but convincing earlier on, and got a truly shit goal for their three points. Newcastle had two clear chances to bury the match before that. So we're still there or thereabouts, but by God something's got to improve.

Ruben yelling at Marty to get his kit off 2 seconds after Sergio scores..

Niall Quinn with a face like a slapped arse.

Good win but Mangala needs selling
He's one of the worst buys ever. A complete disaster bereft of confidence and any defensive awareness.
An almighty cock up in signing him.

Couldn't see that coming! but take that win hopefully get a bit of confidence going in the lads now

We need Silva to get back in form in a hurry. Don't think I've ever seen him this sloppy with his passes. Kolarov: The less said the better. Was shit from start to finish barring 1 cross.

Yaya with an amazing get-out-of-jail goal, I thought played well. Hope Kun kickstarts his scoring now

credit where its due but didnt think we had it in us.The downside yet again
was that it took us to go a goal down before we up the pace and chase the game

Why oh why do we only start playing when we concede? We must start quicker in these games.
Fair play MP - a very brave change in formation but not good for the heart!!
At least Sergio is back - 3 points and home and breathe

Navas and Sterling gives us greater balance away from home. KDB is a luxury player who can provide some superb moments. However, he is being played to death. The EPL is only getting stronger each season as regards to the standard of players and coaches. Watford beat the dippers with relative ease and we know they exposed us. You get the feeling that every team we play is mystery to in terms of tactics. If Pep is coming then we will see a huge change.
