watford pubs for semi final

Was thinking of dropping the car in Watford & getting the train in.
However it looks a ball ache of a train journey & takes 80 mins, is this right?
Watford junction to Euston, Euston to Marlybone, Marylebone to Wembley =£16

You can get straight to wembley central from Watford. Takes about 25 mins. Even quicker if you change at harrow

Central was best for blues last time. Hardly a rag in sight and all pubs were city in that area. Safety in numbers

didnt see no aggro at last semi or community shield.
the flag is right outside the station and were doing it again this time.
0820 from piccadilly then get a train to wembley about half one and get a few cans on the high street ...walk up to the greyhound.....cant wait

The Flag was the one we were in before the semi and the final

Was 50/50 blues and rags before the semi, but mainly city before the final

Don't bother at the night though, there was some student goth night on !! So we wandered into the town centre which was a 10 minute walk

There's an enormous car park at Watford Junction Station which is right next to the Flag. We parked there for the charity shield and got the train in which takes about 15/20 mins. Seem to remember it was reasonably cheap to park there too

I checked up on the parking for the station and it can be prebooked at londonmidlandparking.com for £4.70 for the day. Otherwise it's now one of these pay by text car parks. 5 of us going in by train to Wembley Central, 4 adults and 1 kid for £23.00 all in return on a group booking. 10 minutes if direct train and 25 if you get the stopper. Caught both types when down for the semi and final last time and both were spot on.

If you go from Watford Junction it's about 15 mins to Wembley Central,
though it can depend on the train maybe.
Don't forget the 2 for one tickets... They won't tell you but ask and they do them for all events, have done for both semi's and last cup final. Works out just over £3 each as far as I remember.
