Watford tickets on sale from

If the points system was still in place. Many could have gained another few hundred this season helping them to catch up. Spuds Leicester Brighton West Ham etc all dropped very low.
Maybe the points system wasn’t the issue with people whorring after all

As I I’ve said on other threads. Maybe it’s our beloved club where the issue lies here

3000 at OT 1100 on sale to point holders down to 20000 points
2300 at Watford down to 19000 points
It just doesn’t add up !!

We don't yet know what the points will drop to for Watford but it is yet another game where season card holders are quite rightly up in arms about the way the tickets are spread. Funny how tickets for games such as the derby are siphoned off by the club but Watford away at 5.30 isn't. I have said before that if sponsors, players etc want additional tickets then it should be for home games or Southampton away on a Monday evening not the big clashes where the real fans want to go. Vloggers and wannabees can piss off to the home end not the limited space in an away end.

The young lads are making a real effort this season and it's making a big difference to our away end. By hook or by crook they are getting tickets and good on them. I am on 20k+ but don't begrudge these lads however they get their tickets.

These are the things the youngsters have to do because of the points system

5% of tickets is not enough for them.

There isn't a points system anymore now just a register ,thank you city matters for signing off on that one.
How does it work now went to brugge away Brighton away and west ham away at a cost of over £1k got zero points .
Went to brugge at home got 10 points ffs the system is broken.
This was the one season due to many old timers deffering that the lower pointers had a chance to pull some ground back,what do they do set the points system in stone ,fuckin joke
 
Tried getting my son one of the early doors 18-25 allocation for the first time. Logged on at 9, quickly selected his block, got to check out when the site decided he wasn't entitled to his ticket. Does this limited allocation for 18-25s actually exist?

Same thing happened to my daughter two games running now, she is gutted. She certainly took advantage of this system last season but this season the allocation has literally gone before 9.00 it seems. Again something not right.

I managed to get one - refreshed it dead on 9am and I think the 5% allocation ran out about 9:02. For the derby it went within 30 seconds. Just have to be on the ball with it.

On the points, agree with you 100%.
I am just under 12000 and would have overtaken people who don't go to aways.

Something interesting is going on, though. I went to Tottenham away on the first day. That went to 8000 points (might have been lower) and I was confident I would get every away this season bar OT, Everton and Liverpool.
I got nowhere near Villa away and that is a midweek night kickoff.
Watford 5:30 on TV sounds the same.
VERY disappointing.

I went to PSG away. Something tells me I will be similarly disappointed come the CL knockouts (despite going to the Madrid away in 2020 for which I got know points!!!!)

700-ish less tickets for Watford though. And while it's a fantastic away day for us hardcore fans, I'm not sure Watford away at 5.30pm is as appealing a fixture to those who might fancy a corporate style weekend in the smoke as, say, Chelsea or Arsenal or Spurs away

It does. I know 2 people who got tickets for the derby through that route but they were on it straight away. You have to be mega quick. Logging on at 9 might not be quick enough. Best to log on earlier than that and keep refreshing as 9am approaches I think.
 
Finally got through on the phone after 45 minutes. Seems as though corporate have got the best seats again. Still not appeared on the website and when I asked why, I was cut off.

When they announced is was a 5-30 ko I was doing cartwheels
Which is some achievement for someone in their early 50’s

We all know the points system is finished in terms of racking them up but people have done over the years

Youngsters have not in the main

Good luck to them, they are the future

Atmosphere a lot better when they attend also

Hi Macblue.
Why is Watford your favourite away day ?
I have ticket in the home end,it would be nice to know if there is a special pub where i should go before kickoff.
