"Wayne Rooney's Plymouth Argyle''

It is proven that I talk shite! I said on the day of his appointment that the fat scouse **** wouldn't last until Christmas. Still think he will soon land a job to plop his well upholstered backside on a Sly Sports studio seat, early new year.
I predicted he’d last 3 seasons.
He made it through Autumn and is part way into Winter. Doubt he’ll make it through Spring though…..

I and the Birmingham fan at work thought exactly the same. The Chairman needs to (but won't) fall on his sword when he finally does bin him (will probably make a few scapegoats), wonder how much that is going to cost them?

DIdnt need an expert to see this coming hes simply way out of his depth what these owners see in him is beyong me
Talking to people at Falmouth Town yesterday, they told me it was to get "more bums on seats".

But as I pointed out, the money they will lose, if they are relegated, will be far more than they would gain from a few more through the turnstiles.

They can't see beyond the old red shirt with the geezer inside it stuffing goals in for fun and they simply think that that experience is wholly translatable into putting together a bunch of players whose level is way below that the the said geezer played at. And how many of them have Ferguson as their blueprint? They won't factor in either the amount of money that swilled around to get the rest of their play mates.

Absolutely. It's blindingly obvious why they brought him in; he's a face, a very well known ex player. Someone who might be attractive (with the lights turned off!) to potential sponsors and advertisers. It's not for his track record as a manager, is it?

Their home form is what's keeping them in touch at the minute. 16 points with a +3 GD, but away they only have 2 points, have only scored 3 goals conceding 33
