WBA Away

Ill be making a solo trip there...

are the local fans anything to worry about?

wheres everyone heading for a drink beforehand?

train to new street, walk down to moor st station and several pubs up road from there, huge wetherspoons, square peg i think and plenty of other bars nearby thats where i go whenever we play in birmingham and never had any problems for wba tram to hawthorns

As for trains, I was looking at the 10:27 CrossCountry to Birmingham. Anyone else getting this one?

Went to the Carling Cup game and we all went to a top boozer called the Robin Hood, run by Sikhs, just a five minute walk from the ground on the main road. Away fan friendly, decent and quick service for the number of people in there, pretty cheap, good beer garden and no bother whatsoever. Baggies fans are a decent bunch generally

Whats the journey like by car? (parking, time taken to get there etc)
Possibly the easiest to get away from by car and loads of parking just off the motorway if you turn left towards the ground.

just bought ticket for my son 22 today sunday after getting mine last week. am left with the stub that says remove this stub for concessions attached. when i went down friday they removed the other stub by mistake so exchanged my ticket today how everybody elses tickets look!!

Anyone know someone goin to this game from Shrewsbury by car?.... i could do with a lift rather than 2hour 30mins on 3 different trains.
